Who makes these pieces?

Every gemsomnia piece is designed and assembled by me. In balance with my full time marketing job, I source materials, arrange each composition, and complete all pieces by hand in my studio. 

Some projects involve collaboration with customers or trusted partners, but all work is created with care and intention.

Where do the materials come from?

Many materials are sourced from independent sellers, vintage suppliers, and secondhand markets. Some components are repurposed from existing objects and given a second life.

I try to balance thoughtful sourcing with reducing waste whenever possible.

If you ever feel finished with your piece and would like to return it to be broken down and transformed into something new, I welcome that.

How should I care for my piece?

gemsomnia pieces are delicate by nature and should be handled with care.

Avoid water exposure, lotions, perfumes, and harsh chemicals. Remove pieces before sleeping, showering, or physical activity, and store them in a dry, safe place when not in use.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Timing depends on the type of item ordered.

Ready pieces typically ship within five to seven business days.

Custom pieces typically take up to four weeks from confirmed design. If a concept calls for sourcing something new, timing may extend beyond that depending on shipping.

I will always communicate timelines clearly so you know what to expect.

Each piece is hand crafted and may include vintage or repurposed materials. Small variations and imperfections are part of the process and make each piece unique.

Are all sales final?

All sales are final. If your piece ever needs repair or you experience an issue, please reach out. I am always happy to help find a thoughtful solution when possible.

Can I request custom or bespoke work?

Yes! I welcome collaboration and customization.

Many pieces can be adjusted using materials already in the studio. If a project requires specific or rare materials, additional sourcing may be discussed depending on feasibility and timing.

Fully bespoke projects are priced upon inquiry, as they require additional research, sourcing, and design time.
